On Africa Day (Thursday May 25th, 2017) Creative Opportunities co-hosted a celebration of African and Diaspora culture at the Dalston Roof Park in Hackney, London. The event included a talk by Toyin Agbetu (founder of Ligali: A Pan African Human Rights Organisation) as well as music by Selassie TBC, Mr Redley, Teju Adeleye and Tash LC.
Africa Week Dalston commemorates the independence of African nations and celebrates the rich diversity that makes up the fabric of Dalston’s community.
